Grilling radishes mellows out their peppery bite and makes them delightfully tender-crisp. Use a grill basket to prevent radishes from falling through the grates, or skewer them.

Creamy Cilantro Dip:
1/4 cup each mayonnaise and sour cream
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
1 tbsp finely chopped fresh mint
1/2 tsp lime juice pinch pepper
Radishes:
10 large radishes, trimmed and halved lengthwise
1 tbsp butter, melted
2 tsp lime juice
1 tsp honey or agave
pinch pepper
1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
