Blackberry Cobbler

½ stick of melted butter

1/14 cup plus 2 tablespoons sugar

1 cup self-rising flour

1 cup whole milk

1 to 2 cups of blackberries

Whipped cream or ice cream for serving

Preheat oven 350. Grease a 3 quart baking dish with butter. In medium bowl, whisk 1 cup sugar with flour and milk. Then whisk in melted butter. Pour the batter onto the baking dish and sprinkle the blackberries evenly over the batter. Sprinkle ¼ cup sugar over the berries. Bake until golden brown and bubbly for about 1 hour. When 10 minutes remain, sprinkle the 2 tablespoon of sugar over the top. Top with ice-cream or whipped cream!
